Dear Manuela,

Sorry - thought I sent heads up a couple of weeks ago!

The CATCH package is installed, and available by both the SSW installation and ssw_upgrade methods.
...
S.L.Freeland November 22, 2019 - add dem_sites and catch packages . <<< FORM w/catch select button ()
...
-and, added a blurb on SSW package description page added:
(scroll to bottom since 'catch' is most recent package entry)

Let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Sam.

dear sam,
sorry for bothering… did you have any chance to have a look at CATCH?
we are finishing a project on that, and the SSW implementation would make a great deliverable.
thanks!
best, manuela

dear sam,
many thanks for your fast reply.

the routine is complete - i.e., falls under category 3 and would be a SSW package (name: CATCH).
in the attachment you will find the paper by stephan (cc) who is the main developer.
this is the link to the github page with the IDL routines: https://github.com/sgheinemann/CATCH

please let us know what else we need to do.

thanks and best regards,
manuela

Dear Manuela,

To answer this, would help to get brief description of your desired SSW contribution, for example:

1. number of routine(s)? e.g., one *pro, or a suite of related/dependent routines?

2. breadth of use - e.g. applicable single instrument analysis or more general analysis or
modeling method?

3. Is routine (or suite) "complete" or do you expect evolution ;if tool or suite will likely evolve/get modifications over time, we could set this up as an SSW package - that definition allows "PI team"
to  propagate future modifications/additions -> SSW unilaterally e.g., once setup, Your update(s)
would flow to SSW master -> SSW clients without need for additional SSW admin interaction.

Packages include things like Chianti (Dere etal), PFSS (derosa etal), forward (Gibson etal) )
Description of SSW "package" concept is per:

I'll provide additional suggestions based on your answers to above.

Thanks and Regards,
Sam.

are there instructions how this can be done?
thanks!
