X/Y Slice Tool Produces time slices along specified X and Y lines. The time slices are displayed as images with image number (time) increasing upwards. Note that it will take a long time to do these slices if the images are large and there are many of them. Each image must be read from disk. The images are taken from the file template over the range values in the range boxes. You can change the range or the template anytime before pressing the "do it!" button. Load the window number for the image that you want to select the cuts from. The slices will always appear in windows 13 and 14, overwriting any previous results. To select the cut, press the "select" buttom and then move the mouse to the selection window (buttons up). Then hold the left mouse button down. A crosshair appears that moves with the mouse until you release the button. The (x,y) values appears in the text windows. You can select as many times as you like. You can also manually enter an (x,y) value. When you press the "do it!" button, the slices are made for the last selection only. After a long time (maybe), the time slices will appear. To get rid of this window, press help again. To get rid of the superpose tool window and this window, press dismiss.
