Save to File Tool Save data associated with a display window to a file. Press help again to dismiss this window. Choose a source window for the image either by entering a value (0 through 9) in the text area after the label "window" or by pushing the link button and then moving the cursor to the desired window and pushing the left mouse button (there should be a beep and the window number will appear in the text area). Using the link will also cause the type and size of the array to appear in the text area after the "array" label. This area is not changeable. Enter the file name to save the data to in the file name text area. The default name is junk. This is an editable window. Include the path if your file is not destined for the default path (whereever you were when you started up browser). The output file type is selected via the option menu at the button. Currently only the 3 fz options and the FITS option work. Some other good intentions are in the list but won't work yet. When you are happy with the file name and the type, press the "do it!" button to actually begin the file write. For a large file or a far away destination, it might take a while. To get rid of this window, press help again. To get rid of the save tool window and this window, press dismiss.
